Headers, no. Exhaust and intake, yes. Any other mods, please elaborate.

The headers aren't really replaceable. It's been done, but it's not feasible by even a fairly skilled mechanic.

Tails, yes. Headlights, yes. Sway bars, yes. Front and rear brake rotors, yes.

It appears they're nearly identical cars Lauren. I haven't seen any changes yet between '06 and '07, probably due to this being the last two years of this generation Accord.

In case you were curious, here's how I found the answers to your questions.

Go to this site below.

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

I opened up two Internet Explorer windows with the website in both.

-Choose "Honda Parts Catalog."
-Select "Accord" in the model drop-down menu in both windows.
-Now select 2006 in one window, and 2007 in the other window.
-Select applicable trim level. (2dr EX V6 I'm assuming)
-Select the transmission. (KA5AT is automatic, KA6MT is 6-speed manual)
-Then just choose the part you're looking for. You have to be open minded, as parts are often grouped into categories. (Sway bars would be under "Front/Rear Lower Arm")
- Find the part in the picture, and match that with the number in the list below.
-Compare the "Product Number" for the 2006 and 2007 parts.

If they're the same number, they're the same part, and therefore will work on either year.

Hope this helps.

Well Lauren, this sounds like an introduction thread........

That requires pictures since you're a female.

It's in the rules.

You can't see them though, because they're invisible.

(I need to get out more )

Hate to break it to you, but you won't.

My car ran 14 flat redlighting off the line, my best official time being 14.23, running 300wheel on bald ES100's. This was also my first time at the track. The only sub 15 second recorded 7th gen's is mine and one with nitrous (who ran 14.95 with a 75 wet shot). There are other turbo accords, but none have taken it to the track yet.

You're downfall is going to be transmission and weight, one of which you can change, the other ever so slightly. I ran with sub, random crap, and spare out. If you're really serious about this, forget the intake/exhaust/header crap, go turbo and swap trannys.

EDIT
I am editing this, because I forgot you were a v6 coupe, which means you can maybe break 15's if you're a half decent driver, I totally forgot, this whole time I was talking about 4cyl's. So disregard everything I said, because I was saying all of it because I thought you had a 4cyl. If you have a 6spd, then you can probably run 14's, maybe, if you're a good driver on good tires.

In any case, good luck.

I was about to say... the 03-05 V6 6-speed coupes ran 14.5's accord to Car and Driver. I'm sure a few modifications, and good driving could get around 14.2's. Not to sure about 13's though, unless you're considering J32 or 3.5 block, CL-S cams(?) or what is it... TL Heads with the TL S/C?

From what I understand, the automatic transmissions in those cars aren't terribly slow, but the obvious upgrade would be to swap it for the 6-speed manual transmission.

What I was talking about earlier were mods to reach 13's. One being to swap in a larger block from an Acura TL or RL, 3.2ltr and 3.5ltr respectively, up from the stock 3.0ltr. Another option might be using the more aggressive cams from the CL-S or TL-S, I'm not a V6 guy so I don't remember which one most people use. Another option is to install Acura TL Heads onto your stock block, or preferably the 3.2l or 3.5l aforementioned blocks, but that's literally swapping in a complete motor. This would allow you to install a Jackson Racing SuperCharger that was designed for the Acura TL.

Those are some serious options, but they come at a high cost. Much more money than bolt-ons, but you'll see much better gains from them.

EDIT: Something I meant to touch on in my last post... 06 saw the ugrade in power for accords. A severly underrated 4hp by SAE standards in the case of the V6. Car and Driver found that a 2006 V6 sedan automatic, ran .5 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile than the same V6 sedan of 05 models. That's seriously not a simple 4hp increase...

yeah a new motor might take a bit of saving. my brother did it to his civic. pretty quick for a 4 banger. i think he got it to run low 14s. put in a B18 gsr and over hauled everything. put like 10 gs in it.

Lol, well trust me, such new V6 motors from cars that are still sitting on the dealership lots are MUCH more costly than dime-a-dozen four-bangers in a $3,000 civic.

There is a series of videos on YouTube.com of three guys with 6th and 7th gen Accords that all have TL motorswaps and/or Superchargers, and those cars have easily over $10,000 in them, NOT counting the car itself, but boy, are they nice!

Honda/Acura V6's in combination with readily available superchargers are a force to be reckoned with. They're just not cheap.

supercharge an accord. sounds kinda funny. i used to show a '72 mach 1 mustang with my ex and he super charged that. I may look in to that. The v6 motor can handle something like that?

well lauren unfortunately the problem your having is pretty typical of brnd new cars it usually takes about 3 to 6 months after the car comes out that aftermarket parts are available only because the companies that make those parts arent able to get their hands on one to build the parts. unless its a model that has been continued for another year basiclly like the same body style and mechanics of say a previous year or 2. id say give it a few months andsave some loot cuz when the parts do become available they prolly wont be cheap and no 2006 parts wont work with your model because everything hs been changed because they have redone the car granted they will still use some of the sme parts usually like brakes and rotors rimstierod ends etc another thing since you just got the car i would have an alignment done specifically because cars right off the assembly line dont have an alignment done it just isnt part of the building process thats why most people burn through there first set of tires because they thinkthat eveything is ok when its not completely ur best bet for analignment is any firestone if ur gonna hold onto the car for a while they sell a lifetime alignment for 200 a norml alignment costs 75 but it should be done well in newengland ne wayz twice a year so youll end up savingin the long run and there is no limit as 2 how many times you cn have it done and its for as long as u own the car and unfortunatly u cant transfer it to another car u would need 2 pay for it again i know this cuz i work for bridgestone firestone when u need new tires i highly recomend bridgestone re960as pole positions by far the best tires ive ever gotten i have an 01 acura cl and with those tires i cant hydroplane until i hit 50mph read up on them on tirerack.com well good luck wit ur whip i love the new bodystyle 2 bythe way and yea give it a few months and parts will become more and more available
