does sears/craftsman , autozone or kragen carry a valve adjustment tool for a b18c ?
Just want to know if I can buy a tool from one of these places to the adjustment without having to order one online from amazon. Also its a 10mm correct ?
Any store would have it. I bought a craftsman at Sears for $5.99. The tool comes with all the feelers you need to do any car.
I think he's asking acout the nut holder tool, not the feeler gauges. And no, those places will probably not have one. Just bend up a cheap 10MM wrench.
Double and triple check the clearances.

i bought one form the snap-on truck, it sucks!! so i made one myself. works better than any valve adjustment tool on the market in my opinion. craftsman 10mm deep socket (make sure the flat head goes through the socket) and a cheap 16mm combo wrench and weld it together. less than $10.

Cool DIY!
That sounds better than my bent wrench, I'll have to try that out.

Well, thats a "real" one. I just bent the 10MM wrench 45 degrees with large vice grips.
I like WhiteRabbit's idea the best.

You don't need a special tool. 10mm socket, ratchet, standard screwdriver, and angled feeler gauges are all you need.
