Timing belt issues!
In hand, I had a new timing belt for my D16a6 because when I adjusted my valves I noticed that I needed one. So, I pulled the car into the garage to get it ready, stepped out while the car was still running and sure enough, I heard the timing belt break.
The car was at idle and when the belt broke, I heard a slight zing from the belt spinning and then the car died before I could get to the ignition to shut it off.
So, you think there's a good chance that I bent my valves or did any other damage? Thank God the car was at idle and out of gear. I guess I needed an excuse to get my head freshened anyways...

there is always a chance that you bent your valves, because that is an interference motor. if it was an 8 to 1 turbo motor, you could snap timing belts all day long. lucky for you, single cam parts are dirt cheap. don't sweat it.
dont worry if u did bend them, get new stainless steel valves wich u can get for about $16 each..... and at the same time put new forged pistons and boost that baby,..... the worst for the best budy remember that !
To tell you the truth I really doubt you bent a vavle I have had so many freinds loos there timing belts on Hondas/Acuras and none of them have fucked up the vavles!
