Opinions on Tein SS for 94 Integra
I have been searching through the database about info on Tein Super Street 16-way adjustable Dampers for my 94 2dr. Integra gsr. Just wondering if they are about the best suspension set up for the price (around $900 is what I am seeing) or if there is another complete adjustable coilover set up that I should be looking at instead. The car is my daily driver so I don't really want to spend any more on than that. Any info from experience would be great! Thanks
i actually just ordered tein ss for my dc but yet to install them due to school time. teins are pretty soft springs for daily driving but it all depends on what you're looking for and what you are going to use the suspension for. i wanted comfort so i went with teins
What you have to ask your self is whether or not you need all the adjustability that the SS coilovers offer. If you plan on engaging in some track events, then you could theoretically benefit from the adjustability. If the suspension is only going to see daily street driving, then you don't necessarily need the adjustability.
If you had to ask me about the best set-up for your money, I would suggest the H&R coilovers. They are non-adjustable, but, in my opinion, provide the best ride for a street car, even if it's significantly lowered.

Alright, thanks for the info, I was kind of wondering about saving myself a little bit of money and getting the ones that weren't adjustable, I will take a look H&R and Tein basics. Any others I should take into consideration?

I have the Skunk2 Pro Series non-adj. full coilovers on my car. While I can't say that they're the best out there, I will say that they have a pretty nice balance between streetability and performance. They are a far cry from full blown racing coilovers, but they provide me with enough control to drive in a spirited manner, while still being able to throw a car seat in it and drive one of my kids somewhere. The best part is that I paid less than $600 for them.
