I just picked up a 91 crx with auto tranny. The motor is a d15b2, yes it dual point

How can i tell which model is it?? I checked the vin and it says to look at the 8th digit which mine is a 5. Would this crx be a DX or STD??

Vin says jhm ed8 4 5

 

the base model "dx" is the only one that came with an automatic transmission.

 

So the STD does not come with an auto??

it was a civic hatch trim with a 4spd and d5b1.

Thanks guys, I feel much better knowing. Is there a number on the block i can match with the vin to see if the motor is original. It has 79,000 miles
