Don't forget Hydrogen. Pump it in the tires to the maximum psi.

it looks to me like he uses the car to pick up the kids from school......

hey if you take out the spare you drop a couple lbs ya know... take the seats out put 1 "sheet metal" seat in i dont know what there called its like the drag seats or something they weigh like 10lbs, is it a autoxcar or drag car? if its drag the pick up a fuel cell drop the big tank.. seriously take out all hte bs supports and bars and metal from the dash area.. take out the door supports (the bar thats in the door)

HPDE's and time trials, road course stuff, an occasional autocross. I still need to get the cage in it, and I pulled the motor to put some new pistons in it, so it's super lightweight right now.

Yeah, I take the spare out at the track, and I need to leave OEM seats in it until I get a cage, then I've got an old Kirkey aluminum drag seat that weighs less than 10 pounds that I'll put in it, although I need to leave a passenger seat in it for HPDE's so the instructor has some place to sit, although I may remove it for time trials.

for road racing you cannot remove the inner door support.

if your car is an SI, remove the sunroof. VIA a peice of rivetted lexan or just shaving it altogether.

Rear disk brakes will help you a lot, and im not sure if they weigh more or less.

Shave the spare tire well. I cut mine out of my Honda Challenge Integra im prepping for next year and welded in a peice of flat sheet metal, I then cut a rectangle out for a fuel cell that has an overhanging lip. I rivetted it into place and also put a support bar inderneath on 2 sides. Its still lighter than stock.

if you have money... Memory fab carbon buckets all the way.

Wheeeeeellllssssss. The best way to free up HP and lighten your car is by running the smallest lightest wheel possible for your brakes and still having adiquit(sp?) ventilation. Also just think, what ever weight you save per wheel is multiplied by 4 for your total weight savings.

Hope that helps. Any other questions PM me. If i think of anything else i'll post it.
