Default h22 6 speed

i went searching around but didnt find anything. is it possible to some how get a 6speed trans for the h22. something such as swaping internals from an s2000 or one of the Kseries. i know anything is possible with money but im just wondering if it could be done for a little cheaper.

Yay! Another one!! It's like clock work.. A thread about this will always pop up some where along the way...

This has been asked many times and been answered many times...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 94Vtecluder &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">BUT HERE WE SEARCH!</TD></TR></TABLE>

I wouldn't say "we" do.. I'd say: "we try and get the user to search" so they find their own answer to a question that is asked almost once a week.

Simple answer, no. With money, maybe.
Learn how the Transmissions work for the H-Series and K-Series and any other, then ask with in-depth theory's and knowledge..

I just want the vagabond to go back to cluttering up his forum with questions like this.

With 2K+ posts he should know better.

You read nothing of a six speed conversion because there is none. Go to search and type in "six speed", select prelude forums, and click archived. Again with 2k posts you should need a lesson on how to use the search.

Who the expletive cares if he asks the question.. if it bothers you all so much ,dont effing reply to him... Your wasting your own time mentioning he could have searched... Its alot more satisfying to talk to people and get answers about your own specific problem, than to see other topics that may not be specific to you... And to the OP, I have no idea about a 6 speed H22, but why would u want to do it..

All we are saying is search, you might find an answer to your question without having to ask it. There are years and years of information and knowledge that has been put into this board, I'm sure the question has been asked before...

Now if he had a "problem" that could be different, there could be something else that hasn't been mentioned before.. But he doesn't have a "problem."

I didn't just say search, I told him the simple answer and told him what to do to figure out why.. People are not here to just give and tell you information.. There's guys that get paid for what they do, and there's guys that spend years researching, designing, and testing theories, they're not going to give it to you for free.

This place is for technical related topics, whether be a problem or a theory.

Now if someone came to the board, listed theories and knowledge on how the K-Series Transmissions work and how they could make it work with the H-Series Block, or how to build a 6spd to work with the H-Series Block, then I can guarantee that guys here would discuss it.

You can't just expect to ask a question and have guys spit back information to you.
Someone, at sometime, has to be the one to research how to do something. No one's going to do it for you.. But guys here will help if there's initiative.

I used to think that also, and then someone provoked me to think.

The k does rotate the opposite way of the h22, but it also sits 180 degrees rotated, so if you flip it like the h22 would be, it would rotate correctly.

This still doesn't solve the problem of the differential being in front of the engine.
