car had been running on 2 and 1/2 cylinders. i replaced injectors..cap,rotor and plugs and wires. changed the oil and reset check engine light. car ran awesome for about 4-5 miles...then started bucking and then check engine light is blinking. lost another cyl. i pulled number 4 plug..it of coaurse it was flooded with gas. did a compression test and all cyl. are from 155-170 across. what would be causing no.4 plug to fowl with gas and make the cel blink like crazy...does not stay on..just blinks? i just bought this car and the gurl said it had motor problems.
The CEL will flash because it has a misfire, is this an obd2 motor/ maybe stock? Go to autozone and have the codes pulled, and perform a leakdown test. Then post the codes on here so we can help. Kind of sounds like an ignition control module issue or ecu. I wouldn't advise driving it with a flashing cel. Check all your engine grounds as well.
