93 Legend automatic transmission problem
Its the V6 model with the auto transmission. When it shifts from 1st to second theres this kick/thump, when the car is cold its even more pronounced. All the other gears shift nice and smooth, im not an automatic transmisison expert, so what could this mean? Fluid looks nice and new and its full.
The Legend/RL trans were pretty common to have a unsmooth 1-2 shift. There is a service bulletin from Acura about the 96-98 RL trans shifting harshly during the 1-2 upshift. I'd change the fluid, only use Honda/Acura fluid, and drive it for a few thousand miles and see if it improves. Ive seen aftermarket fluids do odd things to Honda trannies.
hey sounds like u have broken rear trans mount how is the p to reverse shift or to drive and the legend does not have trans filter not a serviceable one ne way
thats so funny, my mom is having the same problem with her 94 Legend. The mechanic said the tranny is out, but it should last for a wile before it actually stops working all together. good luck slava

the only suggestion i have is to drain it refill it, drive it around a bit, then drain and fill again. repeat a couple of times. we used to do a whole case per car (12 bottles) at the dealership and it would help out a ton
