Default d15b swap in 88crx si w/ p28 running rich, No CEL?

OKay so my CRX is running rich, I took it to the shop and they told me my VTEC wasnt wired correctly. So....They fixed that and got rid of the CEL it was throwing. At the same time they told me that My harness is fucked off and I need a new one. He said something along the lines of the 02 sensor may be wired correctly or not.
Im still running rich and not throwing CELS. Is there a way to check this stuff out on my own? Tried searching to no avail! please help a brotha out.

BTW. 88CRX JDM d16b w/ p28 ECU.

If the o2 sensor isnt hooked up it will deffinitly run rich. You may want to look into getting it tuned. The o2 sensor wire should be a black wire that is sheilded.

don't you have to wire the CEL in the dash when you convert to OBD1? My rywire harness came with two wires to hook up to a switch to run codes on the dash. OBD0 just has a LED on the ECU itself. I just think there has to be a code and a way to get it.

Well it is hooked up. Just a matter of if it hooked up right. I do know it is a 4 wire. Also the VTEC threw a CEL so it must be hooked up, right?
