Why don't you just get a K&N drop in filter?

no.....please dont. Take a look into Injen....or AEM CAIs man....they may run more but this is your investment....if money is tight then holdout man....we've all been there....you'll get more from your car, and will be happy you did.

you live in cali just get a aem one since that will be one less reason to get cited for and its not cheap...so i say stick with aem but if you live outside of ca dont waste your money on it and just get that and a kn filter or apexi or greddy or hks and your be good

Ditto. Get an AEM. Some people are auctioning off AEM intakes on ebay. so wait for it and find it.

It looks like APC garbage...crappy coupler, crappy hose, crappy filter. The pipe does appear to be metal though .

Can I use the stock hoses that I have on the stock intake when I change the pipe?

I just found this other intake. Its made by OBX. I think I've seen a lot of users on Honda tech crap on the OBX brand, but an intake is pretty simple.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

I am very tight on money, and think it would be smart to get this since it's backed by warranties.

If someone can answer my questions, it'd be nice.

-It states that it is a CAI, do I have to connect those two pipes together in order to make it longer to get to the fresher air? Why are there two pipes in the picture?

-Since it is a name brand like OBX, should it be CARB exempt?

-Do you think the pipe is a standard 3" pipe?

-Will it come with all the neccasary hardware for installation?

By the way, I would never support OBX

$65?!?!?!?! expletive that. just grab the APC for $13 and buy a K&N cone filter for it. hey, look at it this way, APC is actually a "name brand" when it comes to rice parts

Damn, that engine is all did up. I like.

I went ahead and got the damn APC intake. I have some extra rubber sleeves, I think theyre called couplers, if these ones go bad.

Also, am i able to use the stock Honda breather hose that goes to the stock intake? I might just use that for the new intake.
