So how do they attach to the hood part?? Some dampers go under the hood hinge. How do these mount to the hood??

Bracket is installed using the hood hinge bolt. Fits great with no clearance issues...

Just curious, since they are strong enough to hold up regualar meta hoods, how do they work with carbon fiber hoods? Won't it put too much stress on the hood, causing to crack and whatnot when you pull the hood down to close it?

Got any pix of the car from the side, like how far the hood opens?

according to a write up in honda tuning. You have to release pressure from the passwordjdm hood dampers otherwise the carbon fiber hoods will crack from what I read.

I remember reading about someone's busted PasswordJDM hood with the damper...So that's something to look into.

Note that when you do this you cannot add pressure to them again...no turning back!

Inorder to use with a carbon hood you must use the paper clip method of removing gas from the damper. A soft damper will work fine with a carbon fiber hood

Here is a shot of mine...I got these back in June of last year. I have a VIS CF Hood and they work great. I did not have to release any pressure from them... They are pretty good the way they are.

The have a good release up not fast but not slow...and they are not hard at all when I go to close the hood! And like stated before...no clearance issues what so ever!! Pretty happy camper right here...

Nice bay but that break booster hose and valve kill the look,

Turn that nipple on the manifold down and run those hoses and valve under the booster
