Hood dampers
Just installed a set from password jdm. Install is a snap and they word awesome. Wish they would of had them availible a long time ago. Was going to mod the tein ek ones but decided not too. Here is a pic....

Just curious, since they are strong enough to hold up regualar meta hoods, how do they work with carbon fiber hoods? Won't it put too much stress on the hood, causing to crack and whatnot when you pull the hood down to close it?

Note that when you do this you cannot add pressure to them again...no turning back!

Here is a shot of mine...I got these back in June of last year. I have a VIS CF Hood and they work great. I did not have to release any pressure from them...
They are pretty good the way they are.
The have a good release up not fast but not slow...and they are not hard at all when I go to close the hood!
And like stated before...no clearance issues what so ever!! Pretty happy camper right here...
