Just purchased a DA for my girl. When I go to use the A/C I noticed that the blower seems to only work in the 4th setting. When in 1-2-or 3 it doesn't seem to blow anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I think there is a resistor box for the slower speeds. That may be bad. It is part 7.

I you don't have a helm manual, you should download it for this issue. Search google for "hondahookup manuals".

 

its almost a guaranty that its the blower motor resistor, it usually gets rusty from moister.

back prob the connector to find the + from the batt. (make sure the key is on), then test all other pins (should be 4 in total) to ground. if your test light does not light up then the resistor element is blown.

replace the resistor
