Default hasport dx to sir harness?

has any one used this wiring harness? if so is it worth the money? does it truly "plug and play"?

The only way to make it plug and play is if they also include a new ECU.
or a harness converter with new plugs.
The sensors in the distributor need to be rewired at the ECU because they go to different locations on the plugs.
If it is just a wiring harness, then you will need to do some modifications on your own. I could be mistaken on this one. I have done a whole bunch of DX to Si convertions and it really is not that hard.
Follow the DX to ZC convertion on Hybrid Honda.

I bought one from Hasport and it's not really plug and play...they will include a list of steps to follow like removing some of the pins in your ecu and replace the new connected wires from the harness. But it's relatively easy. *make sure that the core you're sending is in good quality or you'll end up replacing and rewiring some if not all the sensors. I sent a DX harness that I bought from a wrecking yard to avoid down time and when it came back, every time I had to plug a sensor in, the wires just breaks in half...bummer..

I agree...it's a bit pricey, but I was too eager and impatient. I could have wired it all myself, saved me some bucks and probably had better quality wires. It all depends too if you have more time than money...not that I have more of either one. There were a few hang ups on my swap like, wrong intermediate shafts, waiting for parts, and since I was living in an apartment then, I had to wait the next day to sign authorization to leave items by my door or pick it up myself after 3 attempts in their warehouse (ups, fedex, post office)...So when it was time for the harness, I just called them and sent my core....F*&ck it, I already spent more than I should anyway, whats a few more bucks...You probably know, how it is...Good luck!
