Default Profab Tri-Y header fitment

Anyone have issues with the Profrab header hitting the oil pan? Im running a b16 head with a gsr block, and the collector rests against the bottom of the oil pan. I am thinkin of notching the oil pan a bit....thoughts?

I used this header quite recently, all you do is give that oil pan a few good slaps with a hammer and you will be fine in that area.
You will need to purchase two slim fans to replace your stock fans (integra). You will also need to relocate the O2 bump position, as it will be hitting against the steering bar.

diesel covered it all. I had no issues with the header hitting my moroso pan but I have heard they have to be dented stock.

The o2 bung will definately hit the rack though, I didn't realize it until I broke the first AEM wideband when I launched the car on slicks.

It's a good header for the price though.

Has anyone ever tested the Probfab against SMSP for 1.8? I know they are the same design but was just wondering is there a power difference?

my butt dyno told me that my rage header performed much better than my profab did. my quarter mile time also agreed.

I did 13.8 with the rage tri-y header, competition clutch kit, and custom cold air intake throught headlight w/filter. That was on street tires. I sold the rage and bought a profab header, took off the filter and used a velocity stack, and did 13.7 on SLICKS. The 60ft of the first setup was a 2.1 and the secound was a 1.9

There were probably other issues involved there man, not knocking rage or defending profab, but you made plenty of changes and got nothing.

For example, when I went from filtered SRI to headlight scoop, I dropped from 12.92 to 12.49, same track, same day, NO RETUNE!!

Changed it up to a valocity stack, car would consitently run 12.40's after being retuned. You changed a header and velocity stack, added slicks, and only dropped a tenth. Maybe you have other issues. Hell the 1.992 60 isn't helping at all, if I get slower than a 1.73 I am pissed off lol. Did you retune with the new stack and header?

what trap speeds? look at the whole slip and compare the times. but like jay said, first n foremost make sure theirs no issue's and get a tune.
