turbo h22
search, and of course im gonna have to slap you with the "PSI isnt the only thing u have to consider" card. what turbo is it? i mean a small turbo on 8psi vs. what is it that 11.01 sec prelude ran? gt28r or something on 8psi? someone else chime in.
the longevity also relies on the driving style, if ur hella aggresive of course itll give out, if ur conservative for DD itll last longer probably.

It's as reliable as you can make it...it could blow instantly or it could last many years.
Read the FAQs in the Prelude forum and in the forced induction forum to get you started.

i had 2 stock h22a's blow up on me.
I don't trust the ringlands so my suggestion is to make sure you have the money for a built block because if something goes wrong you want to have a backup plan.
I know plenty of people have turboed stock without problems, but having a backup plan is always a good idea.
Just my experience

My car is tuned conservatively. Driving around with 10 psi. Pretty fun. And I take it to the drag strip every other week. Needless to say I rape this car. =D But I only do it cause I have a spare block I can drop in just case this one blows up.
Tuning is the key. Find a good reputable tuner that wont blow up your car. Tell him(or maybe her) that you're daily driving the car.
