Im doing a poor mans type R and Ive already purchased the following for my bottom end build:
B18C SiR-G Block W/ Crank honde .25 over
GSR Rods
JDM P30 Pistons .25 over
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Head Studs
Setup will be completely balanced once installed
Now would you reccomend that I replace the bearings w/ brand new ones or use the old ones?
What exactly is knife edging and micropolishing a crankshaft and how would it benefit this build?
Is a .001 piston to wall clearence the optimum clearence?
Im new to bottom end tech
