Just detailed the R this morning. Turned out nice I think (after 5 hours!)

Thanks to all for the comments. Yeah black looks fantastic when clean and shiney. It took me about 15 hours to get my daughters NBP 1999 CR-V looking this good.

Thanks man. I clay barred it (Mothers) then used Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax. First time using the Gold Class. Worked very well, but took a lot of buffing work (did it by hand).

Yeah 15 hours to detail the exterior of the CR-V. Had 8 years of crud, wax, scuffs, scratches. I had to strip the car with paint cleaner, then polish, then wax. It turned out better than I'd hoped, but took a ton of work...anything for my little girl! (24 years old), haha. It has 217,000 miles on it and looks close to new now.
