IBTL.

"There's no replacement for displacement."

The majority of the users on this board go by this. To me, torque numbers are always significant when choosing motors, so I'd go with the H22, but then it all depends on what you want out of the car. I guess it would help if you tell us what you'll be using the car for, whether its a DD, or track car, or a bit of both.

Or you could just be a baller, say *** it, and get a K20a.

probably for track over drag strips but both would be nice ^ ^;;

oh, for the info:

looking to do a swap on the Ek hatch that will last me a while going N/A.

Strapped on cash but I am willing to save up for a B18c5 if need be =].

Looking for the overall best performance

and a K20 is pretty expensive lol.

Anyone already have done a h22 or b18c5 swap or both before and ran into any problems?

Thanks for helping out guys , appreciate it.

personally, i'd go with the b18c5. really, unmatched aftermarket support, its a strong place to start from, and the transmissions a bit nicer than the notorious h22.

but, that's just my .02.

good luck with the build, bro.
