bb6 fog light switch question

Default bb6 fog light switch question

im thinking about asking for fog lights for x-mas. ive been doin some reading on how to install them and what not, is there a way around loosing the dimmer? where does the fog light switch go if u got the option with the car? any pics would be glorious

if you get the USDM switch and panel that you can save the dimmer, other wise you have to lose one of those controls in your USDM model car to use the JDM switch.

I can only guess that in Japan the 5th gens with fog lights has one of those 3 swtich in a different location.

But honestly until this thread I had completely forgotten that I lost the function of my dimmer, in fact that thing only really annoyed me when I bumped it accidentally and it dimmed my lights.

It's not that bad any reason your worried about losing the dimmer? I mean you could always get a CF plug for your sunroof and then use that button

how hard would it be to find the panel for the usdm switch? any idea where i can look?

heres a pis of one with the pocket turned into a holding slot but i think they do makes these but idk you can find them

quoted for truth

the above picture is indead the USDM switch you see how it has a small pocket(about half the size) and the switch is next to the pocket. That the only way using premade parts(that I know of) to retain all 3 USDM switches.
