Ive had my car for about a year and having lots of problems with my tranny. Like every other post its a 91 integra automatic, daily driver. I think the majority of the cars are coming to the end of the rope . Anyways, the car dies and tends to not start in hot weather. Ive heard this problem accour in auto da's and early 90's accords with the heat issue.

what happens when it dies.

The rpms shoot strait down, and the S3 light starts blinking. when you could be both driving on the highway or at a stop light.

after i turn it off from running, and try to restart it the s3 light turns on before i crank it. and when cranked it wont start. When the light turns of after reseting it over and over again and now s3 light comes on it will start right up, and the exaust will pump it out to a nice rich smell.

one more thing is when i turn it off and put gas in it then try to turn it on, is a sure fire way to make the s3 light go.

ive been fighting it for a year now...

I found the tcm codes and it said i had bad shift and lock solenoides.

solenoides changed= it still dies

i thought heat was affecting the tcm

changed tcm= still dies

Finding out the honda dosent reproduce these tcm's anymore and if we did get a hold of it, it would be el mucho money. So.....i bought the tcm on ebay from californa, which tends to get alot of heat, eh tried it anyway. It worked great.....for three days.

i was wondering if thiers anyway i can reset the tcm or some computer to see if it helps.

another thing it might be my grounds. which grounds and were are they

or am i going to have to start a tcm collection.

any advice is welcome....
