It hooks up to number 14 on the left side(looking from the pic is the one on the lowest fairing to your right), kinda like a bracket (is not the bolt number 14, but where the bolt goes into)... I've been looking everywhere but cant find it. thanks guys!

Why not just take it to the dealer and ask them.

All those 3 fairing bolts go into the rubber well nut. Is that what you're talking about? If so, its #15; it's the same well nut for all of the fairing bolts...
