ok i have a d15b engie that the trans went bad on. i got a different trans out of a 90 hf i believe and the splines arent the same what tranny can i use to solve this problem
Any 88-2000 d series tranny will bolt up to it. It's not about the motor, it's about your clutch / tranny combo. If your tranny is from an 88, then you need to use a clutch / FW from an 88.
So basically if your current tranny is an '88 you're going to want to find an '88 to replace it, or else you'll have to swap the clutch and FW to the same year as whatever tranny you get.
