i drive a 98 integra Ls and...

i got myself an injen short ram intake a while back and its time to get my car smog checked. It did not pass the visual test because the part number on my injen was D-476-4 that part is actually for a RSX i believe. the one for my car is D-476-3 as shown on site. So i bought another injen and i got the same rsx one. Is there something i can tell the people that does smog? or do i have to call injen and somehow have them give me the right stamp?

Just put the stock one back on, go smog the car again, and put the Injen one on again after you pass.

 

shouldn't the carb sticker be enough?

 

sounds like you got a smog tech who is scared, usually smog techs just look for the CARB sticker.

 

damn i think u need to take that to someone else hell i pass the visual test with a custom intake with a civic carb sticker
