Default accord timing

any info would be appreciated.i recently picked up a 95 accord 2.2 vtec with a blown head gasket for CHEAP! it was partly apart already with distibutor pulled valve cover and half of timing cover off.belts were intact.had head checked and machined replaced timing belts and water pump put everything back together per haynes manuel but car runs horrible. several techs have said your timing is wrong
i've already pulled this thing apart 3 times to recheckthe timg marks i cannot see anything wrong. i get no ODB CODES and have checked catylitic converter. whats it doing you ask? it starts, idles but is very rich, touch the throttle slowly rpm's increase slowly and very rough almost dying, stomp it it dies completely. you can here the fuel pump come on with the key and smell gas at idle

Default Re: accord timing (djm.inc)

pull the upstream o2 sensor out to let the exhaust breath. cat may have been damaged from coolant and unburned fuel from the blown head gasket.
