DynoJet Owners - I need software
Hey guys, I have a 224xLC here and the software was not sent to us. We've tried contacting DynoJet but we've been given the run around all day.
Does anyone have the cd they could possibly upload to a server so we can download it? We've got 4 cars to tune this weekend and without the software we're f'd.
Thanks

Anthony, hit me up tomorrow. I will check with a local shop than has a Dynoje 224. If you get voicemail leave me a message I will call back asap

Thanks terry... you are the man. Dynojet has a package being overnighted to us but who knows if the software is in there or not.

Lemme know then

Why isnt this software publicly available? Its not particularly useful without the hardware anwyays. I have saved dynojet runs from a customer's car but I cant view them without the damn software.

Yes but that doesn't do me much good. I think if I put the config file into the viewer it will preset the conditions and enable the options. We'll see tomorrow if the CD doesn't show up in the morning.
p.s. installing a dyno is t3h suck.

now that you own a dyno you get to really experiance some interesting things!
2 hour dyno sessions can turn into multiple days worth of maintenance, trouble shooting, rewiring, fabrication, and wanting to run head first into a brick wall!

What are you talking about man? Do you not know how to tune? Why would a tune take more than 2-3 hours? LOL

I know exactly what you are talking about. I've been using other local dyno's and it seems that at least 7/10 cars always have some sort of issues. It's always embarassing when someone brings a car to you then you use another person's dyno and the owner of the dyno thinks you are at fault for the owners issues.
The new shop is located right off of 526 on Dorchester Rd. Hopefully tonight we get the dyno fired up and running. I still have to red-head it in, red-head the hooks, set-up the computer, install the software, and other misc b.s.
It looks like I'll be up till about 4am tonight.... for the 4th time this week.

If I could tune every car that came in, in less than 2 hours, I'd be a real tuner too!
I will admit, I have spent hours chasing down the most rediculous ****.
Oh, and back to the topic at hand, have fun with the rpm pickup on the Dynojet, I think it was my favorite part about owning a Dynojet product.

What you don't like losing tach signal for half the runs?

I fixed that problem by replacing the product.
Although, I really just wanted a load controller, and they didn't have it ready to sell when I had my Dynojet, so I replaced it. I know I still have a box full of spare Dynojet parts somewhere (a spare stack for sure) from my 224x..

I do LOVE a DYNOJET, mostly dynoed on them. Does Dynojet have a load controller like Mustang Dynos, Dynapacs, Dyno Dynamics now?

Yes, it's the 224xLC model. That's actually the one I have. It will be nice to be able to stop doing street tuning now since I have the eddy control.
