Has anyone ever broke or faced a problem with ground controls?
I was just wonderin if anybody here has any stories of breaking there ground controls?
or have any type of problems with them?
Another question to ask is that I am really affraid of the screw that you tighten to lock the perch in place...can you really break that or is it really easy to break?
If I set it to 2.5 inch front and rear, can there be any possibilty of them breaking and will that screw to lock the perch in place be able to survive at this setting?

You dont need to tighten that screw that hard. Just hard enough to keep the collar from spinning, and that isn't much.
Turn it till it gets hard, then another 1/8th turn should be fine.
People strip or break those screws because they think they need it super tight.

i actually forgot to tighten the allen nut on the spindle once, and the sleeve was fine for about a month, but i wouldnt reccommend not tightening them.
I didnt tighten mine on the front passenger once and it ended up lowering over time till my rims started to rub. Aslong as you install them correctly and tighten them a good amount, they should be dandy. I only recommend these to my friends since they have only proven good to me in quality and ride stablility.
