i was speaking in general, ebay sold products tend to be lower quality.

now i know what you mean.... those "no name" parts and whatnot.

i think that's true to an extent. i have purchased a few things here and there and the item comes completely different than its described or pictured. a bunch of crap.

but, if you really search through, ebay has "real" parts too.

CRX: $1000
Built motor: $3000
Turbo kit: $4000

Spending $188 on a product that is intended to keep you alive: Priceless.

Anyone who needs a cage will be spending AT LEAST that amount on their car, unless they want a cage cause it makes them LOOK fast.

Yes the roll bar is a bolt on...

If your spending 188 bucks for a safety feature like that you obviously dont need cage in your car. You should just double side tape it to your interior, you'll cause less damage that way.

that doesn't make any sense at all.

Whats wrong with getting a good deal on a Moroso cage? If they sold the same product for $800 would that make you think its better quality?

Also, there isnt anything wrong with a bolt-in cage. im pretty sure that most road racing cars use bolt-in cages (i could be wrong about that though). it is NHRA and IHRA approved though.

But anyway, i just noticed that it says "welding required" in the product description.

Sorry but I just wouldn't trust anything of that much importance from eBay.

You can rite anything u want on a eBay auction doesn't mean its all true.

How much do you think it costs to manufacture a bunch of tubes and plates anyway?!?!

when you do that, are you keeping the rest of the interior in the car? a buddy of mine messed up his carpet by trying to do a little touch up welding/grinding after his installation.

mine or his? with mine i would pull the interior back out to weld up the new bars, but keep everything simple so that i can put all my interior back in. i like the look of a full cage with all the stock interior peices. it looks real clean

Brilliant. Moroso makes GREAT quality products, just ask anyone that uses there ****, they work. I've sold these cage kits before, they are pretty nice, just make sure you open your packaging and inspect it to make sure you have all the listed pieces.
