hey guys i am having a problem

the idle is just pusling like crazy, i cleaned the iacv, and checked all the sensors out, and no check engine lites at all.

I was reading in an archived section that said that the brake booster might cause this.. I am having a semi brake problem. Brakes arent working good..

i am new to these year civics, so i am not for sure..

Make sure you coolant is bled of air.

Also check for vacumm leaks since they could cause this.

Did you check the ecu for codes are just the dash?

 

i checked the ecu... i dont think the brake booster is the problem..

prilimiary check for vaccum leak is good

i am thinking timing, iacv is just bad.. i cleaned it but it might just be bad

what about TPS?

 

You can test the voltage of your TPS if you use the online honda manual.

And yes, the IACV could be bad, and after checking the TPS, I would replace it.

 

CAN NOT BE BRAKE BOOSTER

EITHER IACV O RING IS COOKED OR FILTER IS CLOGGED

OR INSUFFICENT COOLANT

TPS COULD BE BY DOUBT IT

OR IT MANIOLD AIR PRESSURE SENSOR FOR SURE

 

can i ask what a iacv is?
and tps?
