If i added ITR cams to my engine would i need to install stiffer springs, retainers etc??? And would this raise my redline?

no you would not.

the only way to raise ur redline is to change/modify ur ecu---then u would need a valvesprings if any----
not so sure on the retainers tho buddy

If ur gonna add ITR cams, get the ITR springs and retainers and a new ECU with higher redline. Better safe than sorry.

The ECU controls your redline (as was pointed out). If you don't want to change your ECU go with cams that put the power where you can use it.

If you change out your ECU, the sky is the limit and that is where the cost factor goes, too.....
Research, research, research.....

do a search since this subject has been covered alot
but all u do is drop in the ITR cams no need for valvetrain or retainer upgrade.
u will keep stock redline

may think about some type of vtec controller to raise ur xover to take advantage of the ITR cams
