So my cousin just picked up a 1988 crx hf. It has a D15 b8, I believe that comes from a 92-95 civic has only 200 miles on rebuild. Head looks different. Has an airresearch t3 turbo with home made pvc piping, rebuilt SI Transmission. Interior is completely gutted and body's a little rough. Has a vortec fmu and big blow off valve. He paid $150 for the car, was it worth it?

The D15B8 is essentially an OBD1 HF motor from a 92-95 CX. 8 valve. Not exactly the best motor for power, but if its boosted im sure the car is still pretty quick.

Most of the parts alone on that car are probably worth $150, so he did pretty good.

 

i would assume he could get that for the turbo alone. proly 100 for the motor, and the scrap metal the rest.... yeah he did good.
