Default Help Please!! Using a P7J/P54 A/C Bracket but lower P/S bracket has clearance issues... why?

Car: 1996 Honda Civic
Motor: 2000 B16A2

I have searched, and searched. Some say only the P54 Del Sol bracket would work with the B16A2, but both brackets can be used with a B18/B20 since the head is taller.

Anyways, I either have a P7J or P54 AC bracket since my D16Y8 AC compressor is already bolted up to the B16A2. However when I tried to bolt the PS bracket, I am having clearance issues. On the far right of the lower bracket, it touches the AC belt.

I want AC and PS otherwise I would have bought a CX/DX hatch .

Which setup do I need? I will post which AC bracket I am using tonight. Could it be the AC belt being too long since we got mixed up which was was which.

You can't use the P7j bracket with ac+ps on a b16. You need the P54. I learned theis the hard way.

You can use the P7j as long as you don't have power steering.

Update: I am using the P7J CR-V mount which initially caused clearance issues with the B16A2 lower P/S bracket. Fortunately, I was able to find another bracket (maybe CR-V?) and thus P/S works.

Initial Bracket: o__o/* (3 holes)
Functioning Bracket: o__o (2 holes)

(*,o = holes)

Basically you have to either find the right bracket or chop off the right section off.
