OEM fenders and hoods...where to get a good deal?
Depends on the part of the country you are in for one thing. I've used a company called GSM. They supply OEM quality (claimed) sheet metal for a lot of imports. That is the 1/2 price way and many of their centers are in major cities (at least here in the east. Some salvage yards can use a book they have to order for you-and that is how I found them. The other idea is to buy 'genuine' Honda parts-make a deal with your friendly parts department manager-join the HondaAcura Club (www.hondaclub.com) and use your membership to get about 15% off at many dealers. YES, you will pay more, but it will be the real part. Just reskinned the roof on my 89 Si and the dealer worked with us on price. Just me 2 cents
Hey guys...I just did a jdm front end conversion on my 88 dx hatch and I have the oem parts sitting in my garage. headlights, hood (red), bumper, 2 sets of corners (clear and stock) and 2 sets of signal lights too. I wouldn't know how to ship it though so must pick up or I can deliver. Make me an offer...I'm in Hayward, CA

Would you consider shipping the hood? I need a hood for my civic. I can tell you how to box it, and I will even schedule the pickup through UPS.
