1990 civic si wiring questions help please
I just bought a 1990 civic si with a b16a swap. the wiring looks pretty sloppy. Its the stock 1990 civic si harness. is it obd0 ? or obd1? is an obdo ecu tuneable? They ran wires directly to vtec by the way it looks. im looking to get a new wire harness as well . can a b16 ecu be obd0? or wired to obd0? The car runs great, the check engine light is on i think due to the broken coolant temp sensor. But the oil bottle with the drop of oil dripping light is flickering off and on at times. could that be to poor wiring? or rattled sensor?

if it's stock, it's obd0

i've seen PM6's with the data logging feature. I've seen other's with tuned fuel maps for better MPG.

PR3?

the harness and car is obd0 if its all stock. in this case it would use a PR3 or PW0 ecu and you can chip both. as for your oil light it may be a bad oil pressure sensor or the wire connector for it may be loose. both of these are pretty common. if you check that and its all good then you probably have a bad rod or main bearing and i reccommend getting that fixed asap if you want to drive your car.
