There was a honda dealer in the central US selling them for 1800 + shipping about 1.5yrs ago. Hardware was included except some years a slight extra charge for it. It was right around the time I put my S2K up for sale. Once they sold out, the deal went away as far as I know...

is it any different/lighter than the regular OEM top? And they aren't offering the CR in all the regular colors are they? So you would still have to paint the top to match. . . .

It's probably just the hardtop,

there was a local dealer selling them for the same price w/o hardware. hardware is 600-700 bucks.

Those were for the Spa colored ones I believe. And the extra charge is for the 00-01 for the defroster to work.

Spa colored ones for 1800 was HardTop guy...that I remember.

The other dealer was selling whatever he had in stock for that price. Its been a long time since I've heard about it again. I'll try to remember what the name was.

Hmm, interesting. Many dealer employees on http://www.s2ki.com aren't even aware of CR part numbers yet. Their computers are showing a delay in the standard 08 hardtop and it will actually be DIFFERENT, as it has been redesigned.

How much can you get the standard hardtop for? And any word on the 08 "redesigned" top?

I have a feeling that just the hardware is different,

Hopefully it is different.

No glass or moldings? Then how much for those, plus the hardware?

$3k is a big chunk. Makes you consider having to re-fi the damn car just to get one. LOL Either that or teach myself how to make fiberglass molds and source a good rear window and start producing them!!

Go price out glass and moldings. Moldings are insanely expensive. I think its over 300$ per side. Hardtop glass is probably a made to order part with a 6 month wait. They don't stock the glass.
