i am personal fan of the 99-00 body...but the 96-98's can look just as good, i like the yellow square fogs with the 96-98 CTR front lip.

password:jdm or a site like that....stay FAR away from jdmsh!t and JDMcarboy, both of those companies suck *** and have TERRIBLE service, JDMcarboy owes me $60 and they won't return my phone calls, won't answer their phones, and won't answer e-mails. I'd hate to take legal action over $60 but to get a company that likes to rip people off out of business it's worth it.

For the foglights, I'd try to find a set of Esuse foglights. The Esuse lights use the stock harness like OEM foglights would and are overall a better quality for the '96-'98 Civics than the DEPO kit is.

The DEPO kit is closer to stock (plugs into the foglights harness) on the '99-'00s, but I'd still steer clear of it then too. My set had too many problems, including a water leak that I could not seal no matter how hard I tried.

For the front end, I'd say keep it. If you want a '99-'00 Civic, look into trading your car. That way you'll get the dash which so many people (for whatever reason) prefer too.

I prefer the 99-00 look only because I have a 99 coupe.

And OEM 96-98 foglights are expensive and very hard to come by as far as I know.

But if you're gonna be buying a 99-00 conversion and 99-00 fogs, you'll probably spend just as much as you would finding OEM 96-98 fogs.

I think you might still be able to buy the OEM USDM '96-'98 round foglights at Honda. I'll probably confirm this later. They shouldn't be that expensive. Knock off foglights are cheap too. It's only when you start looking for JDM parts and **** that it starts getting expensive.

The front end plus the welding (core support) and the paint will set you back more.

I've seen several 2000 conversions w/ fogs and they look good IMHO
