Need suggestions to seal rolled quarter panels
I rolled the lip of both of my quarter panels for more tire clearance. The wheels fit great now but I'm worried that water is going to trap inside the lip and start premature rottting. The lip has about half of a cm gap now. I sprayed what I could with undercoating (lip seam and above). Some undercoating dripped into the space and sealed the crack (about half of the quarter panel). This makes me think that once water gets into the unsealed parts of the quarter panel, it's just going to be harder for it to get out.
What should I use to seal the crack? The area would be impossible to scrape to bare metal or even thoroughly clean so the adhesive must bond to nearly everything (at least undecoating and sealer). I was thinking fiberglass resin but I would like to hear more opinons.
