Does the new JDM CTR have the same chassis/code as the US 4 door Si?
Also what's the chassis code of the euro CTR, just out of curiousity?

 

US 4dr Si = FA5
JDM type R = FD2
Euro = ?

 

how different are the chassis'? or are they the same and just have different codes?

I am sure like the previous R's, the chassis is double welded (more rigid) than lower trims. There are some other details too.

 

usually has most if not all sound deadening materials removed or thinned out.
