sup dudes, well i currently own a 01 civic ex but to be honest i dont want to go threw the whole k20 swap so i was looking at some dc5's on auto trader. found a pretty tight one. looks to be in mint condition only thing is the mileage, its got 107k on it for a 02. i think there mostly freeway miles though. anyone have a dc5 with these kind of miles on it? if so hows it running? feed back will be appreciated thanks guys!

The car looks in really good shape from the pictures. Engine bay is very clean. The only real way to be sure about the condition of the motor at that milage to have a leak down and compression check done. If the motor has been bagged its entire life then chances are its an oil burner. If it was a mature driver then there is no reason why that motor could not last a long time.

I just recently purchased my 2003 Type S with 101,xxx miles on it. It know has around 103,xxx and it has run great the entire three months I have owned it. Not sure what the future holds but great luck so far.

 

I've had my 02 from 50xxx to now just over 100xxx. Never had any major problems.

 

Thats a good buy, kbb puts its value at 14k.

Take it to a mechanic to have it checked out first, most have a used car inspection that they can do for under $100. Worth every penny IMO.
