FS: 2005 Yamaha R6 w/ mods and custom paint in CT!
Well, I bought my 05 R6 last Sept with 528 miles on it. I haven't put many miles on it since then. It only has like 1600 miles on it (will get the exact milage tomorrow). Ive been riding my brothers 2006 R6 and Ive fallen in love with the bike so I'm looking to buy an 07 or maybe even a R1.
I bought the bike as blue and within the first week I did all the following modifications.
Painted VW United Gray and BMW Cosmos Black (tail section)
Installed a Puig dark smoke windscreen
Hotbodies undertail
Hotbodies side markers
Progrips gel grips
Aluminum bar ends
Polished clutch and brake levers
Polished front and rear rear sets
Micron short can high mount exhaust
Polished rear spools
Converted the headlight so the outside lights are low beams and inside are high beams. Low beams are Ebay yellow halogen lights and high beams are Sylvania SilverStar bulbs.
When I bought it the oil was changed to synthetic, always warmed up to operating temp before riden. I serviced and adjusted the chain just last month.
There is not ONE problem with this bike. I love it dearly but the slipper clutch and aggressive styling of the new R6 has won me over.
Im asking $7000 OBO for the bike. The bike is located in Southwestern CT.
