Default new to all motor.!

this will be my 1st all motor set up... i blew two turbo motors so now i wanna stick to All motor....

this is what i have so far.

skunk 2 valvetrain.titanium retainers
supertech valves
skunk 2 stage 3 cams
JG intake manifold
hytech header.

the problem is im not sure on what kind of block i should put it on....i know compression is a big issue but idk **** of that...... i have two b16a blocks laying around what pistons and rods should i use if i go with the b16? or should i go with a 1.8? 2.0?

I agree with WattsUp, I've made the mistake of throwing "race" cams in my daily driven car too many times. The extra power sounds good initially, and then you get stuck in traffic.....

i would go 12:1 compression with a b20 block.
keep the head the same unless you have the extra money to p/u smaller cams.

is ur stage 3 cam a pro series or a tuner series? cause if its a tuner series that should be street driveable without much of a problem. but if its a pro series than pull them out and sell them cause there gonna be wayyyy to big for anything on the street.

u cant mate eagle rods to oem pistons cause the oem pistons uses like a c-clip thing and the aftermarket uses something entirely different. either go aftermarket or oem but u cant do both. im using je pistons and eagle rods.

Yeah i hear you on reselling parts that u dont need...and trading someone stage 3's for stage 2 will be a lil difficult....
that RS b20b/z type r piston would be great. They have been proven to make 200+ power and u dont need aftermarket rods. You can use the stock b20b rods but make sure u reinforce them with some ARP bolts for extra security. There is alot of people runing this setup and have great N/A power. Just ask Happy about it he has that same setup and his always posting up his dyno and his specs with no problems...
btw your new red eg is clean....
p.s.let me know if your looking for a b20b shortblock I got one for sale

Wrong.

OEM pistons are pressed onto the rods with heat.

Aftermarket pistons use c-clips to fasten the wristpin to the rod.

And you can use RS Machines' new pistons with aftermarket rods AND OEM rods.
