well i have a 92 prelude f22 single cam manuel engine. today all of a sudden it started to sound like it was knocking. everytime i gave it gas or i was going faster then 45 mph it sounded like a freakin trailer and this was all at engine running temp the oil like also filcker so i check oil and it was fine. later today i turn it back on with engine cold and it was making a hitting sound like if someone was hitting the engine ervytime i gave it gas can anyone help plzzz...???

 

Make sure you are using fuel with a high enough octane rating.

 

^^ that, or you might have a bent rod or spun bearing

 

Oil light flickering? Looks like you lost some oil pressure.
