bored so i cleaned my engine bay up a bit
well i had absolutely nothing to do earlier so i thought i would go ahead and fix that jumble of injector wires sitting ontop of my intake mani. i basically unplugged the injectors and the 3 sensors on the intake mani, put the wires under the intake mani and ran the wires up through the runners in the manifold. looks a lot better i think. I also set my ignition timing advanced all the way on the dizzy, and the car runs about 5x better, drives alot smoother now. So far no signs of spark knock so everything looks good so far.

As you can see the mangled mess is now hidden, any other suggestions for what i can do to clean it all up? gonna try to clean that valve cover next.

i tucked some stuff away and ended up taking off 2 brackets that werent holding anything so i guess that kind of cleaned it up a bit. i would love to do a small tuck but the guy who did my swap kind of thew the harness on so the only way i could really tuck it nice would be to take it all out, and i dont know anythign about the plugs so i would probably get lost putting it back on lol
Haha... im a noob too. The harness is pretty straightforward though. Just dont unplug too many at one time and go slow. You could start off with your headlights
i noticed how i would tuck that, but i dont want to go so far as to cut and add length to the wires to put them through the fender. so i am just looking for small things to tuck away.
i tried removing some of the harness below the dizzy but this one plug on the starter i had no idea how to remove, and i like pulled it out a little and then the start didnt work, so i had to glue it back onto the side of the start to keep it in. so im gonna try to find some other tings to tuck. any more ideas anybody?
