Well I thought I had just minor surface rust on the rear fenders behind the rear wheels, but it turns out that the rust has gone right through and actually started on the inside of the fender. How difficult is it to cut out this piece and weld a new piece in. Or should I take it to a shop to get it welded? If so, how much do shops charge?

If you are unsure to begin with, i would suggest letting a shop do the work. Any pics?
