Differeneces in Brand Names
Me and my friend were talking and we were discussing the differences between brand name Cold Air intakes, exhausts etc.
We both agreed that some designs are superior, and some parts are made of better materials, but then we got on the subject of Cold Air intakes specifically..
What would be the difference between an AEM, Iceman, Apc, and Nakayama intake, assuming that they collect air from the same place (all CAI or short ram)
I said that there probably wouldnt be that big of a difference seeing as these parts aren't really prone to rust etc.
What do you guys think?? Is AEM worth the extra $100?? Are they all about the same??
Thanks!!

You can't go wrong with AEM, Iceman, Injen, Comptech.
AEM is worth it...filters fall apart on cheaper ones...and ICEMAN looks retarded

I have had three filters fall apart ( the cone w/ fillement coming seperated from the base of the filter). I would go with the Iceman or AEM (right now I have AEM and its cool) BTW the AEM was not one that fell apart. They were just cheap custom images style ones. The only diff with intakes is some material conducts more heat than others does it make a diff.....maybe but I doubt its noticable with out a dyno.
