Default Does anyone have any experience with Megan Racing Exhaust?

I'm looking for a cat back system for my 02 ES2 and was wondering if anyone has used this type of exhaust system? And if it has a deep tone or bumble bee type sound. Reason I ask is because its for sale on eBay and I don't trust much from there. If anyone knows of a better system that sounds good let me know. I've got a muffler but wanting to get rid of front muffler and all that so I might as well just replace it all. Any ideas? I did look for it on here and didn't see anything.

In terms of catback exhausts Megan Racing actually has a decent exhaust system. The entire system is full stainless steel compared to other big name brands that only use mild steel piping with a stainless steel muffler.

I believe DC sports is one of the only other companies to offer a true full stainless steel exhaust system. (Correct me if i'm wrong)

While i was working for a performance shop a few years back we opened an account with megan racing and the quality is pretty good for the price. We never installed an exhaust system on a car at the shop so I'm unsure of the sound. We did sell alot of highflow cats and ep3 downpipes which is why i know the exhaust quality is there.

All of their products are made in Taiwan but alot of products are being made there now including some JDM manufacturers. Most of the newer products coming out coming out recently like megan are made at some of the same plants that make products for those JDM manufacturers.

To my knowledge I have not heard any negative feedback from most of the MR product line.

Most fireball style mufflers are loud so expect the same from this one.

is this the one you are looking at?

Hope that helps.

i believe the greddy evo II is full stainless steel. as for your megan exhaust, check out 7thgen. I think a guy called majin or some dragonball Z character SN had a sound clip of it.

I stand corrected. Greddy makes full stainless steel exhausts now. Its been a while since I looked at exhaust systems.

Thanks for the info.
