i got a 00 civic with gsr swap and the idle and throttle is annoying the crap outta me it idles from 1k to 2k up and down. and sometimes its fine and then i step on the throttle and it stays at 1500 rpms. also the pervious owner installed a skunk2 intake manifold. and he also gave me a type r throttle cable and the manifold now has the type r throttle bracket installed. how can i fix it to make it idle normal and not stay at 1500rpm when i drive.

 

ooo hahaha lucky you i have the same problem and i figured it out the other day the throttle rotor might be not rite its geting stuck in the slightly open position. it hits the throttle body too fat. im guessing your using a gsr throttle body but im not sure what rotor you using i was using a b16 one iono is the type r one different the gsr rotor is smaller on the side that hits the body to stop from moving. the b16 one is fatter so it will contact the throttle boy quicker so it will stay slightly open =D

 

correct it stays slightly open. what did you do to fix this problem?
