I have a 5 door honda civic hatchback 2002 UK plate. I have been slowly modifiying, and I heard that other honda bumpers such as 2002 honda civic type r bumpers can fit on my car? Is this true, and what other modifications such as body kits and body parts can I use for my 5 door as 5 door modification parts are hard to come by! Please help!

Yes mate, you can fit Type R bumpers onto your 5 door without modification.

No problem matey. The bumper fixings for our UK 5 doors are exactly the same for all models including the 3 door becuase i've seen 5 door bumpers on 3 door Civics before.

The year doesnt matter either, although the Type R recieved a facelift in 2005 (if i remember rightly) so pre 05 will get you the more rounded front bumper, post 05 will get you the deeper one with the swoopy lower section and the round holes in it for the foglights. The facelift also came with different headlamps that look a bit sharper.
