Just spun out...
Its a little wet out and I was going around a real tight 2 lane S curve and a fuggin deer decides to prance accross the road. I Have to lift off the gas, cut the wheel and get on the brakes REAL hard in the middle of the first curve. And we all know what heppens when you add those things together. The *** end decided to step out.
I was going sideways around the first cure heading towords a pole, I counter steered and the Azenis hit a dry spot and cought traction but there was oncoming traffic. I gunned it just in time to miss the pole and get out of the way but the back end swung and stepped out to the otherside on the last part of the first curve. I did a 180 and hopped a curb into a muddy ditch right in the middle of the second curve, just missing a metal marker pole.
I jumped out of my car the lady from the oncoming traffic looked pissed. I just simled and said "That was ******* close" She drove off all pissed and didn't even say anythign that bitch. I was just happy that I didn't hit anything or mess up my car too major. I knew it wasn't my fault and there was nothing I could do so I was just happy nothing too bad came out of it.
I was blocking traffic so I backed out of the ditch and pulled onto a side street to chack for damages. There were none except my 2 front wheels were covered in mud from the ditch.
Sorry for the long post but that was the closest I have ever come to totally loosing control and a major accident. The Azenis rock and if it wasn't for them catching traction so quick it would have been much much worse. I hate fuggin deer...

you got very lucky.
not saying it was your fault, but taking it a little slower in inclimate weather, especially in limited sight areas, and tight curves might **** off someone behind you, but it is the safest thing to do!

well I'm glad to hear your OK and that your car didn't get that much damage.. but sorry for what happened.. gosh deer
they should be on a plate instead of runnin across the road haah j/p I had a similar experience w/ my car spinning out and going sideways.. it was scary as hell... for those of you in nor cal.. I was on highway 17 going from San Jose to Santa Cruz and I just passed the summit so I'm going downhill on those S-curves... something scurried across the road (and it was foggy too so I didn't see exactly what it was) I braked and was already steering (those S curves on highway 17) and my back end started fish tailing and going crazy.. i tried not to make any sudden moves (brake, gas or steering) but still lost it on the S turns and my car was going sideways in a cloud of smoke.. then my rear end hit the guard rail
and I spun and was facing head on w/ a stopped big rigs headlights.. scary as hell ..
anyway glad your OK..

The scary thing is I was going slow but that deer didn't run like to feet infront of me. It ws more like 2, I kinda saw it jump down from the right and I seriously thought it was landing right on my hood. If it jumped 5 feet further up I would have been fine but nooooo he had to jump right at me. So I had to hit the brake as hard as I could and then bad stuff happens

LOL I just pictured it again...I mean the lady had the nerve to stare me down when she just saw me pull some crazy driving skills out of my ****. So I just smiled and said that.
Sometimes when you are very lucky and you make it out of things you shouldn't you just have to smile and laugh. Its hard to explain...
Azenis

Glad you r ok.
More autocrosses, you will be able to save things like that !!
j/k
Azensis are great in the rain. I don't know why people say they are not. I have had Azensis and Kumho's. I like the Azensis better in all conditions.
