Will the P2P SOHC VTEC ECU run the DOHC VTEC motor properly? If not... what do I need to do? I have both engine harness and both ECU (P2P and P2T). I am hesitant to drop a large amount into a conversion harness... can I make my own by chopping the wires and following the ECU pinouts?

I do not know what I need to do...

Use 96 EX harness with P2P (Y8 SOHC VTEC ECU)
Use 96 EX harness with P2T (conversion harness... can I rewire myself?)
Use 96 EX harness with P72 OBD2 GSR?

 

if you have the engine harness just use that one instead of the 96 harness... but yes the sohc computer will run it just wont be fast...
